The preceding specifications are the minimum items required to be placed on a bulk agricultural fertilizer product label. If additional information is provided on the label, further labeling requirements may be enforced. Therefore, we advise you to consult with our department to review your label before final printing. Further, we recommend that you review Minnesota Rules, 1510.0410 to 1510.0422, the Fertilizer Labeling Rules, prior to printing a label.

The above is a suggested format. Alternative formats may be used provided they are approved by the MDA.

In addition, copies of invoices or delivery tickets must be kept for five (5) years after the sale, delivery, or application of fertilizer.
