The MDA Noxious Weed Program's goal is to protect Minnesota's citizens, economy, and agricultural and natural resources from the negative impacts of invasive plants and noxious weeds. The Noxious Weed Program supports local governments enforcing the noxious weed law and works with the Noxious Weed Advisory Committee to advise the Commissioner of Agriculture about plant species regulation, weed management, and implementation of the noxious weed law.

Through the links at the top of the page, you can explore the statutes of the noxious weed law, review the noxious weed list and the species pages for each of the plants on the list, find information about County Agricultural Inspectors and county noxious weed lists, read about the Noxious Weed Advisory Committee, and find updates about the Noxious Weed Grant Program. In the "Learn More" section below, you'll find links to report a pest and other projects associated with the Noxious Weed Program.
