Per Minnesota Statutes, 18C.541 an agricultural liming materials (ag lime) license is required before an entity (i.e. firm or person) may distribute ag lime (i.e. disposal of, offers for sale, or sell) in the state of Minnesota. An ag lime license is effective from a calendar year (i.e. January 1st through December 31st).

1. Only For Industrial or Municipal By-Product Ag Lime: Contact the MPCA to find out if a Beneficial Use Determination or permit may be required by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA). MPCA will issue written approval of the Beneficial Use Determination or permit. |
