Orville L. Freeman Office Building and MDA/MDH Laboratory Buildings
The MDA is located in the Orville L. Freeman Office Building. Before your visit, we encourage you contact MDA staff to ensure someone is available to assist you. Division phone numbers and other important contact information can be found on our Agency Overview page.
The building is between East 12th and East 14th streets and is next to the Metro Green Line Robert Street station. The building entrance is at the curved exterior wall near the southeast end of the building.
Visitors and guests to the Freeman Office Building and the MDA/MDH Laboratory Building must check in at the Freeman Office Building main lobby Security Desk at 625 North Robert Street. The Security Desk is staffed from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Main Phone Number: 651-201-6000

Delivery and Drop-off Information
All deliveries, including document and package drop offs, must be brought to the Freeman Loading Dock on East Central Park Place located on the west side of the Freeman Building. Dock hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Directions:
Access to the Freeman Loading Dock is from Columbus Ave and East Central Park Place via Cedar street. Going north on Cedar Street, turn right (east) on Columbus Ave (just after the National Guard Armory). Follow the street as it turns left up the hill, and half-way up the hill you'll see the loading dock doors on the right side of the street.
Pull into one of the available dock bays or ring the outside bell if dock doors are closed. Dock staff will take possession of your delivery and contact the appropriate recipient of your delivery.
