Custom Exempt Meat & Poultry Processing Plants in Minnesota

Custom exempt plants may process meat, poultry, and/or wild game to be used by the owner of the animal, the owner’s family, and the owner’s nonpaying guests. In contrast to equal to plants, these facilities are only inspected by the MDA on an occasional basis, 1-4 times per year depending on the seasonality of the business.
