2024 Spongy Moth Management

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA), in collaboration with federal, state, and local partners, are managing spongy moth populations at 42 sites in the spring and summer of 2024. Spongy moths are an invasive insect, and our state monitoring program found a high number of moths in these areas. More detailed information about the management will be coming soon.
