Listed below are all the chemigation check valves approved for use in Minnesota when applying fertilizer and pesticide products. The list is updated periodically, so before buying a check valve please check with the MDA to see if the check valve you are considering continues to be approved. Fertilizer applications require one check valve and pesticide applications require two check valves. Please post and retain for your records. A print-friendly version is available.

NOTES
- Kroy manufactures Midwest and Valmont valves. Valves listed for Kroy, Midwest, and Valmont are similar in construction and performance.
- This list supercedes all previous lists. Only valves listed are approved for use in Minnesota.
- Minnesota law requires all valves to be stamped, tagged, or otherwise marked to indicate working pressure, flow rate, and direction, and date, month and year of manufacture.
- Manufacturer valve models previously approved by the MDA as of 12/2000 remain legal for use, provided that they are stamped, tagged, or otherwise marked with the information in #3 above.
